Sweet Pea Linen Dress

We’re excited to bring you our new linen dress range. This is a wonderful dress to see you through the Spring Summer seasons, but is also so easily layered with your favourite jacket on colder days. The beautiful linens are a high quality linen and rayon mix which not only makes them sustainable but also reduces the creasing which linen is prone to and gives it a wonderfully soft touch. The exclusive and delicate Sweet Pea dress has a darker purple background with the beautiful pink and green tones of the fragrant sweet pea. It been used to great effect on this relaxed knee length dress (note: model is 5′ 10″). The striking dress is made of a soft linen mix and has a round neckline with button through placket. The dress is finished with elbow length sleeves and in-seam pockets!

From My Mother’s Garden uses environmentally responsible fabrics and techniques wherever possible. All the new styles are created using sublimation printing which minimises fabric wastage.

Linen is one of the most sustainable fibres and one of the oldest fabrics in history. It’s produced from flax plants which require less water than cotton plants. Together rayon and linen make for a breathable, biodegradable blend that has the look of linen with additional benefits of better draping and less creasing.
